Bring up to six friends or family members on a private sailing charter aboard The Tammy Norie! Guests are welcome to book up to a full day of sailing, and craft their own customized Maine Coast sailing adventure from Rockport Harbor or inquire about sailing from the islands of North Haven and Vinalhaven. Whether you're looking for a full-day sailing experience in Penobscot Bay or a brief sail, we're here to make it happen.

Three Hours: $600
Four Hours: $750
Five Hours: $900
Six Hours: $1050
Seven Hours: $1175
Eight Hours: $1300
Beyond Eight Hours: $80/h additional to eight hour rate

Shorter Sailing ADVENTURES
Reserve a private sailing charter for up to six passengers aboard the Tammy Norie and have the whole sailboat to yourself! Sail with us from Rockport Harbor, or inquire about sailing from elsewhere in Penobscot Bay. Morning sails are typically great for viewing wildlife, and afternoons are generally graced with slightly more wind. We have been living and sailing in Penobscot Bay for over thirty years, and are fully able to customize your experience - let us know about your hopes and dreams!

LONGER SAILING ADVENTURES
A full day sail about Tammy Norie is an amazing way to explore Penobscot Bay, whether you're with family or friends. Join us from our home port in Rockport Harbor for a day on the bay. Depending on your interests, you might sail in and around North Haven and Vinalhaven, over to Isle au Haut or the islands of Merchant Row south of Stonington/Deer Isle. You could find yourself at Hurricane Island, Brimstone, or up in the Northerns. You may choose to sail closer to the mainland in west Penobscot Bay and check out the views of the Camden Hills from up close. Penobscot Bay is an amazing place to explore by boat, and we're happy to sail wherever you are excited to go!

Charter Deposits
We ask that charter passengers scheduling in advance send a 50% deposit to hold their slot. All parties submitting deposit payments acknowledge that all sailing participants will be expected to sign a liability waiver after their safety briefing at the beginning of their charter. If something changes and the passengers are unable to charter the day/time as scheduled, the deposit can be put toward a private charter of the same value on an alternate day. Deposits can only be refunded in the form of a charter (similar to a gift certificate).

He was more than happy to let me take the helm, as we took advantage of great wind and sailed past the rugged Sparkplug/Goose Rock Lighthouse and over to explore Seal Bay in Vinalhaven. As we sailed back to the harbor, the views of Isle Au Haut and even Stonington off in the distance, were only topped by a gorgeous Maine sunset.
