Q: How much does a charter cost?

Q: How many people can come?

Up to 6 guests — the price is for the whole boat, not per person.

Q: Where do you pick up?

Rockport Harbor, Maine: just a few minutes from Camden and Rockland, Maine. We provide custom pickups on North Haven, Vinalhaven, and elsewhere upon request.

Q: Do we need sailing experience?

None needed — Joel sails Tammy Norie solo if you'd rather relax, or teaches you the ropes if you want to help.

Q: What should we bring?

Food and drinks (21+ can bring alcohol). We also recommend bringing sun protection, a windbreaker or warm layer, a camera, and any other items you typically carry with you. We have plenty of dry storage space aboard, and your belongings will be safely stowed.

Q: What if the weather's bad?

Maine weather can shift fast, and safety comes first. If we have to reschedule due to weather, we'll work with you to find another date, or issue a full refund if no date works. If you booked well in advance, don't worry about the forecast yet — we'll sort out any weather complications together as your date approaches.

Q: Is it safe? Is there a bathroom?

Yes! Safety is our priority. We have a wonderful enclosure surrounded by windows up on deck, and a larger cabin down below with comfortable seating, a galley/kitchen, head/bathroom, table, books, games, etc for guests to enjoy if preferred.

Q: Can you help us get to/from an island for our vacation?

Aside from our general daysail options, we also offer private sailboat transport to islands in Penobscot Bay, most commonly North Haven and Vinalhaven. Contact us for more information if you are interested in this offering.
